Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Reception Driver in Columbus, MS. You will safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites, manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain a visible security presence.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license and a flexible daytime schedule on a part-time basis. You will join a responsive team with access to our Shift-Claim platform, training, and opportunities to grow.

Qualificações

• Minimum Requirements include a valid driver’s license and driving eligibility.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and personnel according to site procedures and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access issues calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
