As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, and support badge-related processes while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an industrial manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Control access for deliveries, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas, documenting security-related observations and irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
