Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Help maintain controlled entry to production, office, and restricted areas by observing access activity, reporting irregularities, and following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document activities and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting maintenance, access, and security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
