Qualifications

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor/access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant and visitor inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, communicate clearly with property management and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required reports and daily activity logs.
• Adhere to company security protocols and ensure consistent, courteous service to all clients and staff.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
