Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Security in San Francisco, CA to provide a reliable front desk presence, verify access, and support building operations. This role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to earn more.

Pay rate is $25.90 per hour, with a schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and a pathway toward greater hours or full‑time work through our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: 5 years of security experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

• 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed); background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff while enforcing site policies.
• Greet visitors, verify access, issue credentials, and direct guests.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and communications; escalate as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with management and responders.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Security in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

DayTimeSun06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building staff while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor building access points, visitor activity, alarm notifications, and communication systems, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating with building management and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting a welcoming lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
