Allied Universal in Austell, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Visitor Authorization). You will monitor entry points, verify access, and deliver excellent customer service at a busy logistics and distribution site. As an Access Control Officer, you will support a welcoming environment and uphold site procedures.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour. Schedule: Mon 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, Sat 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Sun 11:00 AM–9:00 PM.

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat – 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun – 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying visitor, driver, and/or contractor authorization; maintaining visitor records; and issuing or collecting access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and receiving areas to help deter unauthorized access and report access-related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
