Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed on weekends at Brentwood, TN. This role provides flexible hours and opportunities to earn supplemental income while supporting healthcare facilities and visitors.

Pay rate is $17.51 per hour. Schedule includes DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM and Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM with the option to pick additional shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Minimum requirements apply.

Qualifications

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Weekends in Brentwood, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
