Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Leesburg, VA. The role is a part-time, driving position with a pay rate of $22.70 per hour and a schedule of overnights across multiple days.

You will conduct residential patrols, provide customer service to residents and visitors, verify access, and document patrol activities while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Qualifications

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the community, verify authorized visitors and vendors, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
