Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Leesburg, VA. This role offers fixed shifts at a designated site with the option to claim additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings while providing reliable hours. Pay rate is $22.70 per hour.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Leesburg, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, streets, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe resident, guest, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with community policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and promptly through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
