As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, amenities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicles and pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
