Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a retail location. Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, property damage, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in collaboration with store leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, property damage, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while working collaboratively with store leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
