Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - Entrance Access in Savannah, GA. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors, monitor access, and support security operations with a focus on customer service and clear communication.

The role requires patrols, access control, and incident response. A high school diploma and background check are required; a drug screen may be conducted where permitted by law. The schedule is full-time with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including the building exterior, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and access points.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian activity, and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Entrance Access in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working as part of a reliable, agile, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
