Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Security Officer for a part-time, unarmed patrol role. You will deliver customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while maintaining a visible security presence and following site procedures.

The position offers specific weekend hours (Sat-Sun 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) with opportunities to earn more through our claim-a-shift platform, working in a dynamic, supportive team that values integrity and service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, patrols, incidents and security concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
