Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Site Driver Incident Response in Columbus, OH. You will monitor and protect clients across Retail/Malls and other settings, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license, and offers flexible day shifts with on-site roles and the opportunity to claim additional shifts through our platform.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by executing security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
