Allied Universal in Portland, OR is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Roving Patrol to protect client sites and support a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at an automotive manufacturing or logistics location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle lots, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete detailed incident reports.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at an automotive manufacturing or logistics location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle lots, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete detailed incident reports.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate observations, concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
