Allied Universal, a leading North American security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Roving Patrol Security Officer in Erie, PA. You will patrol retail locations, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while representing Allied Universal’s people‑first culture.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a flexible schedule and explore shifts via our Claim a Shift platform. A background checks, drug screen, and licensing requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate store contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, delivery and vendor entry, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.

• Mon 06:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri 06:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 05:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 05:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
