Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Mount Ephraim, NJ. You will patrol a retail location, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a calm, professional presence during incidents.

This role offers flexible evenings, on-site work, and opportunities to learn our shift-claiming platform. A high school diploma and security experience are preferred, with CPR certification a plus.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, timely reporting, and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Fri: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, parking areas, fuel areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
