As an Unarmed Security Officer at an industrial site, you will perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain visibility, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to clients, visitors and employees.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking, entrances and perimeter.
• Monitor doors and vehicle traffic; verify authorized access and record visitors/deliveries.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly and notify site contacts and responders.
• Document patrols, incidents and observations in shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify authorized access and maintain required visitor and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• A Guard Card/License is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
