As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
