Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Blythewood, SC. You will protect clients across manufacturing and industrial settings, provide customer service, and follow access control procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location and perimeter.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions and hazards to site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and site procedures. Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions, unusual activity, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while following established access-control, visitor-management, and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
