Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background check will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and guiding authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, documenting actions and filing reports.
• Observe and report hazards or property damage and maintain daily activity logs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver arrivals, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, or potential hazards while maintaining accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
