Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol at our Portland, OR site. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, and monitor access points to deter incidents while supporting a fast-paced distribution location.

Applicants should be at least 18 for unarmed roles, have a high school diploma, and be willing to undergo background checks and a drug screen. Pay is $20.00 per hour with a standard full-time schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol - Distribution Site in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, driver, and employee entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, patrol findings, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
