Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Castle Hayne, NC to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will provide excellent customer service, monitor and patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour. Schedule includes Daytime and Weekend shifts, with a flexible ability to claim additional shifts via our platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in line with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site policies.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, docks and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials; document incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Observe hazards and report policy violations to site personnel.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
