Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Katy, Texas, to perform perimeter checks and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. You will provide strong customer service, monitor access, and respond to incidents as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Background histories considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor documentation.
• Report security concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

• Thur: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
