Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Maxton, NC. You will monitor facilities, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence at a food and beverage location as part of a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, managing access, documenting incidents, and adhering to site procedures. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma and a background check; drug screen may be required.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle or pedestrian traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
