Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for our Atlanta, GA site. You will monitor and patrol client locations, deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization in accordance with site policies and documenting security-related activities.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
