Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for a Honolulu, HI site. You will provide customer service to tenants and staff, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming environment and helps to deter unauthorized activity at the location.
