Job summary

Allied Universal in Renton, WA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to provide customer service, monitor access points, and conduct patrols across manufacturing and industrial locations. This role emphasizes safety, incident response, and a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

You will work a part-time schedule with shifts including evenings and weekends, using Allied Universal’s tools to claim additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
• Observe workplace conditions for hazards, unauthorized activity, and equipment or property concerns, reporting findings promptly in accordance with site-specific policies.

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
