• Background check and drug screen required as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and proper reporting.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of distribution areas, docks, yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions.
• Complete activity reports and shift logs as required by site procedures.

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
