Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver. You will protect clients across various industries, perform patrolling, maintain a strong presence, support access control, and provide excellent service in a dynamic setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a state-appropriate guard card or license. This is a driven, team-focused position with opportunities to grow and advance within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver's license required per policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail areas and parking lots.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns calmly and professionally.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
