Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property verifying authorized personnel and visitors.
• Observe and report unusual activity or security concerns to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms as needed, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, access concerns, and other security-related conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
