Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a Santa Clara, CA site. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Qualificações

• Six months or more security experience is required.

Responsabilidades

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, entrances, and other designated areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate reports and logs of security-related incidents and observations.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
