Qualifications

• TWIC required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, document observations and incidents.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access-control records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, document observations and incidents, and support compliance with location requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
