Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Winchester, KY. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide professional customer service to patients and staff while maintaining safety and site procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.

• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following security procedures at a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, adjacent areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization; maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical situations calmly per escalation procedures.
• Observe and report conditions affecting facility operations and communicate with site contacts.

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations, personnel, property, or restricted areas, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
