Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Winchester, KY. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access, and delivering professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations, personnel, property, or restricted areas, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
