Qualifications

• At least 5 years of security-related experience.
• At least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the cultural venue, including public areas, event spaces, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the cultural venue, including public areas, event spaces, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and other security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
