Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a guard card or license (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unauthorized access to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Complete activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation and communicate to management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
