Allied Universal in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol). You will monitor premises, deter incidents, and deliver customer service across distribution sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies; respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver check-ins in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
