Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard (Unarmed) in Grove City, OH. The role focuses on patrolling a logistics/distribution site, monitoring access, and delivering professional customer service to employees, visitors and drivers.

Scheduled daytime shifts include a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM pattern with weekly coverage, offering flexible hours andSHIFT options. The position emphasizes safety, incident response, and compliance with site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, driver, and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports.
• Observe package-handling and transportation areas for security-related concerns, help maintain orderly traffic flow, and report policy violations or hazards to site leadership.

What You'll Do:
