Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.

Role requires at least two years of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens as required by law. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and a valid driver's license is needed for driving positions.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid drivers license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation/notification procedures.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs while maintaining a professional presence.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
