Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Honolulu, HI. You will serve clients across Hotels & Resorts, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role pays $27.33 per hour with a part-time schedule. Shifts include Mon 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Thur 11:00 PM–07:00 AM, with training, growth opportunities, and a caring, people‑first culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Pay Rate: $27.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
