Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming, safe environment. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication.

This role offers the ability to build a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform, cadenced with Thursday and Friday night shifts, and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and badge verification.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following emergency protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities and report security concerns clearly and promptly.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related concerns through clear and timely reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
