Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Houston, TX. You will perform patrols, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence at a manufacturing and industrial site.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Schedule includes Sat and Sun nights; pay rate is $14.50 per hour.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
