Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site requirements to maintain orderly entry/exit processes.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping maintain orderly entry and exit processes for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
