• Provide customer service to retail store clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, suspected theft, and other critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location, store floors, stock areas, entries, exits, and parking areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns to store personnel and leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, supporting a professional and welcoming environment.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail store clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspected theft, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting a professional, welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
