As an Unarmed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence while providing directions, answering questions, and supporting a welcoming environment for occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
