Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in San Jose, CA. You will provide vigilant customer service, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and document security activity to maintain a safe environment for tenants and visitors.

The role offers flexible day and night shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities to learn through on-site training. A valid driver’s license is only for driving positions.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access attempts and other incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
