Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Orlando, FL. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and document activity to deter security incidents.

This role offers a predictable DayTime schedule on Fri–Sun with morning shifts. A Guard Card or license is preferred, and prior security experience helps. All applicants undergo a background check where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents for supervision.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity when required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
