Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol CPR Response) in San Francisco, CA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide superior customer service, and support access control while reflecting Allied Universal's values.

This role offers part-time hours on Saturdays and Sundays with a morning shift, and requires a minimum of security experience. CPR is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• CPR certification preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology location by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter; report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized access and support a professional workplace.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, documented observations and escalation to site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity and incident reports, and shift logs; communicate information to incoming personnel and stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to incoming personnel and site stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
