Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings and surrounding areas, reporting issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete required logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $28.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
